Purchased in 1987 at the former Wedding Belle bridal shop for $600. The hat retailed for $300. The dress was altered from a size ten to a size four. I don't recall the name of the designer. I had it professionally cleaned and preserved in a bridal box right after the wedding, along with the hat, bouquet, and a satin bag. The train can be buttoned up in the back for dancing.
This is an amazing deal for a dress and hat of this quality. According to thewarwhoop.com, the average price for a wedding dress was less than $100 in 1987.
