Vintage Steiff Lori Resting laying plush fawn

This little fawn has been an absolute delight to many friends who saw her. I put her in a basket with some nice warm blankets and snuggled her in. Everyone thought she was a real fawn. She was made by Steiff in Germany who have strict standards for workmanship that ensure quality. Also they use high quality natural materials that they weave in their own mills. She has her original Steiff button in her ear which is their world famous branding. I am not exactly sure how long ago l purchased her but has been approx 40 years ago. When l had my kids l took her out of her basket and put her in my hutch as l didn’t want the kids to destroy her (you know little kids, dirty fingers etc lol). Where she has been ever since. She is in excellent shape, looks like the day l bought her. Have only ever seen 1 other like her since.
