Vintage Signed Bellamy Style Wood Carved Eagle Velvet Background Framed Art

I do not know a lot about this piece but will do my best to provide a detailed description. I believe this is a handmade vintage piece. I am fairly certain that the eagle is wood but I cannot be 100% sure. I unscrewed the screws on the back however the eagle is also glued down so I could not see the unfinished side. There are some scuffs & scratches to the velvet background and two small holes as pictured in close-up's. There is a scratch to the eagle's beak. The frame is wood, and there are some scuffs, dings / dents and slight paint loss in areas. I believe the signature is "gross" that is engraved into the eagle. There is dust debris in the small crevices. I have not attempted a thorough cleaning. There is a picture wire for hanging.
