First off, the box has seen better days. It’s not trashed but it looks like it’s been handled a lot. It has. This system is an open box return. I bought one for myself too. I charged both up and connected to my Spotify and both work perfectly. They get LOUD and the sound quality is excellent. It sort of looks like they are styled after the old Bose systems, but I love the rose gold better. (Looks orange in pics…but the color is rose gold) I’m offering free shipping & a lower price than Walmart has them on sale. Buetooth and FM radio. This unit is just stunning.
