This is a superb, versatile and complex fragrance, being that Viking's effect is that of an evolved, barbershop-adjacent masterpiece (I said it), sufficiently grounded in the fougere olfactory heritage to be intelligible, yet original enough to demand your sustained interest and appreciation.
It's hard to beat Creed, they truly are a great fragrance house, one of the best IMHO.. The retail price they demand for their fragrances is definitely high, but so is the quality and the prestige of owning Creed fragrances. I wouldn't pay the $510 retail price, but somewhere around half that is acceptable for this type of quality in a fragrance..
