Copeland Spode Fine Stone Tea Caddy "Queen's Bird" Pattern Wonderful Piece for Tea Caddy Collectors This rectangular tea caddy with lid, used for storing tea leaves, is a great addition for your collection, either of the "Queen's Bird" pattern, or for your tea caddy collection. This piece is made of fine stoneware, with a very slightly bluish body, transfer printed similarly on both sides with the multi-colored bird on a stylized tree with berries. The shoulders are arched, edges hand-painted in pale yellow-beige, and accentuated with fine blue hand-painted lines. The lid is topped with a tea flower and leaves and is all hand painted, with similar blue line accents. Age : Circa 1960 Dimensions : Height with lid 6", width 3-3/8" depth 1-1/2". Condition : Excellent, no chips, cracks, crazing or wear evident. Matching set of 2 tea/coffee cups
