AQM tankless water heaters heat water instantaneously and endlessly at 99% efficiency as it flows through the unit. Unlike water heaters with a tank, they save energy because they have no stand-by energy losses. AQM tankless point-of-use models excel at supplying warm water at a constant temperature for hand washing at a sink but must be carefully matched to the flow rate of the sink to operate properly. They are ideal for residential or commercial hand-washing sink applications. The sleek, small design allows installation with the unit visible. Venting is unnecessary. - AQM 3-1 is designed to provide warm water around 90° to 100° for hand washing at a standard low-flow (0.5 GPM) lavatory sink
- Requires hard wiring to 120-Volt electric service with 1 dedicated 25 Amp breaker and 10-Gauge copper wiring
- Provides endless warm water for hand washing at 99% efficiency and saves energy because water is heated only when needed
- Important to carefully match the AQM model to the flow rate of the sink
- Engineered in Germany with the best materials to provide years of trouble-free service
- A special flow switch control protects the nichrome heating element from failure caused by dry-firing
